Working with Mark J. Burns was an exciting opportunity. Together we collaborated on this project of creating an identity for a community of sports professionals.
Upon discussing the brand identity, it was clear that this logo needed to be unified, polished and recognizable in a sports environment. The ideal audience included full-time sports professionals, schools and journalist.
The SBC word mark pulled inspiration from the classic A&W logo.

Sports Business Chronicle was a new age media company covering the intersection of sports and business centered around a community and membership-based model (launched site Oct. 2017, shut down Aug. 2018). Founded by Mark J. Burns, SBC encompassed 400 members and represented 45 schools.
Sports Business Chronicle was mentioned in other news publications such as Busted Coverage, Bleacher Report, Awful Announcing, theScore and AthleticDirectorU.com.
